While sifting through past galleries this last week working on clearing some space,  I was humbled to see a few of my loyal clients' faces over and over again. So I went down memory lane, going through each gallery as if in a time lapse, and finding myself smiling from ear to ear. And then......I got emotional. As I zoomed back out to the present moment, sitting there at my desk, I was so humbled to realize that I've documented some families through their major life moments time and time again, and others year by year as their children grew right before my eyes.

Today I'm highlighting the Paridon family. What a sweet and special surprise to be able to photograph a childhood friend! Heidi and I had lost touch for many years, but some bonds just stick and are meant to find each other again. When she requested to be photographed in the comfort of their home, it was music to my ears! I adore home sessions of any type. And with apprehension from prior family sessions on location, Heidi warned me I might have my work cut out for me. I've always loved a good challenge. And over the past 6 years, they have become one of my smoothest and most laid-back sessions. I am so grateful I get to watch these kiddos grow and capture it all.

PS - they have the best and cutest backyard!
